Graveyard Riot's debut is a self-released, raw effort that actually does remind me of who they claim their influences are; Circle Jerks,SuicidalTendencies, etc. It's straightforward musically, but singer Damien King has a few opinions about a thing or two (government, race relations, wealth, violence). Graveyard Riot reminds me of listening to lo-fi 7 inch records on my shitty stereo back in high school: mono, scratchy, murky, shouted vocals, guitars and drums bleeding all over each other.
